1) Why do you want to become the 1st ever UK’s Dazzling Beauty 2012?
I would love to become the 1st ever UK’s Dazzling Beauty as the pageant itself looks like such a fun, friendly and rewarding experience and winning the title would give me even more opportunities to get involved with lots of charity work, which I am so passionate about. I believe that I am a good role model and I really want to show other young ladies that you can achieve your dreams if you really believe in yourself! I would be so proud to represent my local region and win such an amazing title.

2) What are your 3 biggest achievements to date?
In 2011 I won the title of Miss Worcester 2011, which was truly such an honour and I went on to proudly represent my home city in the finals of Miss England 2011. I had an amazing year jam packed with charity events, fundraising and modelling. I still continue with lots of charity work and modelling, as I thoroughly enjoy it and I have built up good links with local charities and companies.

During my time at Sixth Form College I came first place in the country for my results in the OCR Health and Social Care Double Award AS Level. I was so happy to receive this news and it really proved to me that if you put enough time, hard work and dedication into something, you can achieve excellent results.

I passed my driving test first time after just over 3 months of learning which was so exciting and gave me lots of independence to get myself to places and help others out.

3) What education, qualification and work experience do you have?
– I have 11 A*-C grade GCSE’s and I gained 3 straight A’s at A Level, in Double Award Health and Social Care and German. I have also just completed a GCSE Spanish evening course and will receive these results at the end of the summer.

– I work as a Secretary for a children’s charity, which is such an interesting and varied role and it is extremely rewarding to be able help people each day. I recently passed an NVQ Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration, which I found very interesting and I was able to complete it alongside my everyday duties at work. I also work in media and advertising for the family business, which is a car sales.

4) Describe yourself in 3 words?
In 3 words, I would describe myself as caring, bubbly and hardworking!

I always put my all into everything that I do and strive to get the best results. I look on the bright side of things and very much have a ‘glass half full’ view on life. I really do care about helping others and making a difference to their lives and I always live by the motto ‘treat others how you would wish to be treated yourself’.

5) How would your friends and family describe you?
My friends, family and also the judges of the Miss Worcester competition have described me as ‘down-to-earth’ and ‘friendly’. They would also say that I am very dedicated and that I am trustworthy and reliable.

6) What are your goals dreams and aspirations? My main aim is to continue to be happy and healthy, enjoying life and helping others. I will continue to put 100% effort into all that I do, as I believe in doing everything to the best of my ability. I am keen to further my knowledge of languages, as I really love being able to understand people from other cultures and I would like to learn French and also Italian. I will travel to many different places in the future, including Australia and Thailand. I will continue with lots of charity work and fundraising, which I find so rewarding and also thoroughly enjoy.

7) Have you ever done any modelling, beauty pageants or performances before? Have you ever won any awards, titles, crowns? If so please state: In 2011 I won the title of Miss Worcester, something which has given me so many fantastic opportunities to get involved with local charity work and also modelling. I was a finalist in Miss England 2011, which gave me a phenomenal experience and I met lots of lovely people. The finals included taking part in a very challenging boot camp led by soldiers, creating an Eco outfit, learning different choreographed routines, fundraising and getting as much publicity as possible. I was extremely honoured to represent my home city in these finals and it was an experience which I will treasure forever. I regularly model for local fashion boutiques, at events such as Wedding Fayres, Prom Fayres and Ladies Evenings. Also, in 2011 I modelled for a National Lottery Euromillions advertising campaign.

8) Have you ever raised any money for charity or been involved in Youth or Charity Work and if so please tell us about your experiences/fundraising:
I am regularly involved with local charity work such as helping out at fetes, selling raffle tickets and taking part in sponsored walks and I have also been in a charity dragon boat race. I am outgoing and love to get involved in things with a special cause. I recently organised a sponsored walk with my family and we were able to raise over £210 for a local multi-sensory centre, which was so rewarding and we were really pleased with this great amount! Furthermore, I sold some unwanted items at a car boot sale and raised over £130 for another local charity. I have also modelled in many different charity fashion shows.

9) What heat are you applying for and why would you like to represent this city? I am applying to become Worcestershire’s Dazzling Beauty 2012.
This is my home county and it would be fantastic to represent this area in the UK’s Dazzling Beauty final to further my work with local charities and to be a role model for other young ladies in this region.

10) If you were to compete in our talent round what would you perform or what talent would you display for the judges?
For the talent round I could showcase my ability to speak German to A Level standard and also GCSE level Spanish. Furthermore, I really enjoy art, so this could be something that I could display for the talent round.

11) What makes you a Dazzling Beauty and what qualities do you have that make you unique, special and loveable?
I am a bubbly and down-to-earth person and people find me easy to talk to. I believe that if I won the title of Worcestershire’s Dazzling Beauty and went on to win the UK’s Dazzling Beauty title, I could show other young ladies that if you truly believe in yourself you can achieve your dreams! I am very dedicated and really passionate about helping others and getting involved with different charities, something which I know is so important. I really want to show to others that the title of ‘Dazzling Beauty’ is truly about you being dazzling as a whole person, both inside and out.
